So, after many months of hiatus, I am finally back! And this time, it's a travelogue!
As a company outing,
The Purple Inkers invades Maribago, Lapu-Lapu's Imperial Palace!
We started our trip with a breakfast at Jollibee SM. Since it is still an early 8:30, we took the breakfast meals offered by the famous fast food chain. I took the liberty to order the Corned Beef with Egg combination. Take note, our boss made sure that it was an all-expense-paid trip! Yay!
The place is owned and developed by the Philippines BXT Corporation, a PEZA registered Tourism Operator / Developer. The project is a foreign-funded investment and was a response to the call of the Philippine government for more investments on the tourism sector.
The waterpark was so amazing! So, of course, we went swimming!

We didn't just swim in the pool and ride the water slides. There was also a lunch buffet waiting for us! We ate all we can. The serving was, after all, a combination of Korean, Filipino, American, and Japanese dishes! I took a serving of at least one from each set. Moreover, the desserts displayed for our appetite was a complete definition of chocolate haven! Nom nom nom!
 |
| Yum! Beef tenderloin, tofu something, and vegetable (??). |
 |
| Ugh! This is the desserts that I am talking about! |
 |
| Tuna sashimi, sushi roll, and tuna sushi. Great! I remembered! |

| *drooling* |
It was actually a very heavy meal. Yummy!
We went home around seven in the evening. Before we went home, we dropped by the beach to have a photo shoot. It was so nice there in the evening, especially by the port. You can see the great Imperial Palace Hotel by the grandeur of its lights. It was also a lucky thing for us that there was a wedding reception being hosted there.
The ports light left me in awe as it was ever-changing in color. Blue, red, yellow, purple, white - so clean!

| A pose at the port. |
 |
| See the lamps' color - white, right? |
 |
| Me posing with the port light in yellow color. |
 |
| The view! |
We saw some fire dancing from the hotel's employees, too! They were called The Amigos!

I really enjoyed my one-day trip to the hotel! Hopefully, I can go back there anytime soon! Maybe for a wedding? Lol.
All in all, it was fun-to-the-point-of-being-awesome!
