A Visit to a Temple

It's not as if I'm a heretic. It's just that I don't like to flaunt my faith. I believe in God and I pray to Him with all my might. I'm just not fond of going to the church.

However, I got curious as to what Taoist Temple looks like. It's not a church for Christian faith, but I still want to go there just once. That is why we made a side trip to Taoist Temple right after we went to visit the Cebu Animal Zoo. Read my post about it here.

The Cebu Animal Zoo and Taoist Temple were not far away from each other. So we just hiked our way there. Together with Stephanie and Nami, we went for our first time visit at Taoist Temple.

Here are the photos:

A Visit to the Zoo

Okay, so I'm a nature freak.

Today, we just got ourselves immersed in nature as we visited Cebu Animal Zoo. It's in Busay so it's not really an easy trek there. The fare was also quite expensive. However, the atmosphere at the place was really serene and the air was fresh. I got quite shocked since it was still a part of the city so breathing fresh air put me in a good mood.

I'll just be posting photos of the experience there. No words can explain how refreshing it was to visit the Cebu Animal Zoo, after all.

Sisters' Day Out

It's a post-birthday celebration! Since my sister had word during her birthday, we decided to go for a post-birthday celebration. It was worth it for me since she was the one who spent money for the said event. We just had a simple post-birthday celebration by going to SM. Of course, we hit the arcade first.

Play. Play. Play.
Combo!
Beat it!
Learning how to play the game.
The guitarist.

We Went to Play at St. James Amusement Park

It's very rare for us to get a day off together so me and Jobeth went to St. James Amusement Park just after we got home at the city from Simala. The said amusement park is located just in front of Park Mall. It's directly in front of the mall and the rides are towering as well so it should be difficult to miss. It was scary trying to cross the road since its a national highway and the cars and trucks are all speeding their way to their destination.

We were actually tired from the trip but we took advantage of the ride-all-you-can promo that offers riding all of the amusement park's extreme rides. The games were not included in the said promo though. We got a free coke for availing of the promo which is good since the two of us were extremely thirsty already.

A Pilgrimage to Simala

Let's get religious every once in a while.

Me and my friends traveled the city to go to the famous Cebuano spot of religion - Simala Monastery! The ones who went with me are Jeanive, Nami, and Jobeth. Stephanie was not able to come because she was reprimanded by her parents. To fill in her spot, Jeanive's beau came with us.

Since we don't have car, we took a bus to Simala just like we normally do with our travels. It is my second time going to the said place so I am already quite familiar with it. There is no need for me to get lost just to remember the place since I have already been there in the past.

A Hike at Osmeña Peak

This is another spontaneous trip I planned. It was because I missed hiking. Being a girl scout made me a girl close to mountains and nature. I missed hiking and getting dirty because of nature so I planned the trip.

This time, my companions are the Tampus sisters!

My friend, Jobeth, and her sister.

Simple and concrete leadership

"I am only one but I am still one. I cannot do everything but I can do something. And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse the something I can do." as said by Everett Hale.

Let me emphasize something. Each one of us is just one among the billion youths worldwide. And youth is just one sector in every society. It might look like we are just a speck of dust. However, deep inside we know that there are many things we can do and , undoubtedly, we are good at it.
