2014 BUCKET LIST

Here are some of the bucket list items that I will make sure to fulfill this year. Last year and the year before last, I wasn't able to do anything worthwhile. Truth be told, I personally think that 2013 was a 'wasted' year for me. I didn't do anything that benefits me in terms of the social, mental, emotional, and physical aspect of my life. The year before last was, well, the year when I took a step back and evaluate what has become of me. These past two years caused me a lot of losses.

This year, I plan to make it worthwhile. So, I have to be aware of what I want to be first. I have already established my educational plans as well sa physical plans. So the other aspects that I have to plan out are the emotional and social parts.

In response to that, here are some of the resolutions I vow to complete before the year ends.

Reading Resolution

  1. Dedicate one a part of the year to one author.
  2. Challenge myself with a difficult book to read.
  3. Introduce my best friend to my favorite read.
  4. Get a signed copy of a literary book.
  5. Visit a public library or local book shop when traveling.
  6. Read a book related to my job and apply its principles to my daily tasks.
  7. Include a poetry collection or anthology in this year's to read list.
  8. More non-fiction.
  9. Discover an author I had never heard before.
  10. (Re)arrange my bookshelf!
  11. Re-read the books that I already own (and read!) on my personal shelves.
  12. Include 5 classics in this year's list!
  13. Don't be afraid to crack the spine of new books.
  14. Try reading a new genre you have avoided in the past.
  15. Post 12 book reviews on Ezine.
  16. Book reading goal: Adding at least 50 books this year.
  17. Finally read the Agatha Christi novels you’ve been avoiding.
  18. Buy a complete series that is not a manga: Harry Potter.
  19. Read Pride and Prejudice.
  20. Translate a manga chapter.
