It's
on the third page of my long-lost poem notebook so I just gave it this name. It never really have
any title in my notes. It seems that I entitled it 'The
Rule'
but it was crashed out. Also, there's another opening poem under it
so it might be another poem I wrote on a spur of a moment. So let's
just go with a nameplate, then just leave this as title-less.
Pride.
You
never said 'I'm
sorry'.
Yet I wait.
Anger.
Your emotions cloud your head.
You seek revenge.
Sloth.
You never do your best.
I pity you.
Greed.
You always ask for more.
Please be satisfied.
Lust.
Your thoughts are worldly desires.
I hate it.
Gluttony.
You eat more than enough.
Your body sighs.
Envy.
You covet what your neighbors have.
It's not meant to be yours, to begin with.
Lastly,
You should hear my voice.
It's me: JESUS.
When I wrote this, I basically wanted to have a poem that is
attributed to the seven deadly sins. So I gave birth to this kind of
poem. I'm a freestylist so I follow no rules when it comes to my
poems.
